Our founder Vanessa, was inspired to create Sprinkees when she couldn't find a bag that was both pink and yellow for her daughter. She knew she wasn't the only person facing the same dilemma, so the design for a customisable mix-and-match bag in all the colours under the sun was born.
As Vanessa's daughter grew, she saw how much she loved role playing with the everyday handbag essentials she found in her Mum's bag. This led to the next evolution in our product range, which was to create all the accessories and everyday essentials you need for your bag, making Sprinkees the go-to sustainable brand to shop for a bag and everything you need to put in it.
Vanessa designs all of our products herself, meticulously researches every component that goes into our products, and works closely with the best suppliers all over the world to ensure only the highest quality sustainable products are made.
On a more personal note, Vanessa loves the colour red, is always on the hunt for the best vegan desserts, and still can't believe she's finally fulfilling her lifelong dream of owning her own fashion brand.
Vanessa grew up in a small country town in Queensland and now calls Brisbane home, where she lives with her daughter and two cats.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce and spent most of her career prior to Sprinkees in financial services as a Digital Product Manager leading app and website teams.
